It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

Well, Thanksgiving was a windy but snowless day. Friday the temperature dropped and Saturday morning we woke up to 4 inches! Thank you to my wonderful husband for shoveling a path to my car and clearing the driveway for the postman!

For those who know me best, White Christmas is ready and waiting for a hot cup of chocolate this evening. Of course, that means I have to go out and get some so we may just do the movie without the cocoa. LOL

It's hard to believe that over 2 months have passed since my last post. Things have settled out at work and I have a new trainee by the name of Cheryl. She recently moved here from Kalispell where she worked for National Flood (during Katrina)! Needless to say she's used to stressful situations.

Jake makes us laugh as he appears to have a love/hate relationship with snow. He still wants to go outside but always hesitates as if preparing himself before he crosses the threshold. He also is fun to watch as he runs along, periodically dipping his head to eat snow!
